I'm the third owner, have had it for approx. 2 yrs. Originally an Arizona car this vehicle is in great overall condition with low miles. I've decided to throw it up for sale as I am looking for a more practical year-round vehicle. I don't need to sell it so if it doesn't sell, it doesn?t sell; I?m not going to take any low offers on it.
I'll shed some brief information on 944's as some people may not even know much about them. They feature a naturally aspirated 2.5L Straight 4 all alloy block. Introduced in 1982 the cars went through a slight change 1/2 way through 1985 to include a new dash and door panels, embedded radio antenna, upgraded alternator (from 90 amp to 115 amp), increased oil sump capacity, new front and rear cast alloy control arms and semi-trailing arms, larger fuel tank, optional heated and powered seats. These N/A counterparts to the 951 are NOT drag cars, this car will never be a top track performer. That's not to say these cars are not renowned for their 50/50 weight distribution and excellent handling. I love the way these cars handle and drive it's a great experience, this is my second 944 I don't pretend to be an expert on them but I'd like to think I know a thing or two by now. There are approximately 2400 of these on the road around the world today in this model year.

Some common mis-conceptions are that these cars are ridiculous to maintain, costly, and always breaking down. That's garbage as with any other car, maintenance is required but they are not difficult to work on, parts are readily available, and there are a few shops that still work on these cars.
I am asking $5500 negotiable, considering the availability of cars around this age in this condition with these miles that is more than fair.
