For sale is a 2005 Saab 9-2X. The 9-2X was built by Subaru (in Japan) when GM owned Saab and shares in Subaru. Almost mechanically identical to the Subaru Impreza (all parts are made by Subaru) with but the 9-2X benefits from a nicer exterior, interior, sound insulation, security system, and side impact airbags among other things.
-88xxx kms (Subaru timing belt change at [removed phone] km)
-2.5L boxer engine (I get ~7.4 L/100km [~32MPG] fuel mileage on regular gas)
-5 speed manual
-Subaru all wheel drive (combined with Nokian WR-G2 tires, it handles the winter with ease)
-"Premium" package, which includes 6 cd head unit, fog lights, two-tone leather interior, shift knob, and steering wheel
-"Cold" package, which includes: block heater, heated seats, heated mirrors, wiper park area de-icers
-front and side impact airbags, seats with active head restraints
-before winter: new battery, new brake pads and discs, new spark plugs and spark plug wires, new air filter & cabin air filter
-very clean inside and out
This car is well maintained (maintenance log available) as I had the intention of keeping it for good. Low kilometres and I changed all the fluids when I purchased the car (transmission, rear differential, coolant, brake fluid, clutch fluid, power steering fluid, and of course engine oil), brake pads and discs were also changed. Plans have changed and I am moving overseas, so I am selling the 9-2X.
I bought the car with 71xxx kms and since then most of the kilometres have been easy highway driving. I work in Slave Lake and drive back to Edmonton on occasional weekends. I live close enough that I don't drive to work while I'm in Slave Lake.
