Can't say much on this 1998 Subaru Forester 4 cylinder/2,5 liter auto transmission, they're awesome AWD's. Driving it to Fort McMurray and i need a reliable grip on the road which subaru's are known for. With this mileage, i just replaced the timing belt, water pump, gaskets. i have the records what was replaced. Underchassis was rustproofed again. I always run it on synthetic oil. I'll throw in current Goodyear winter tires and existing Nokian Summer tires.

i want to replace the windshield but i don't have to, i get rock chips once in awhile. I don't have the budget yet, to replace gas tank. My mechanic advises me to replace the gas tank to fix the smell. just working on the funds to have it replace. It would help if you're a mechanic.
